Perfect for Indoor Practice
My first-grader just started playing baseball, so I bought this for his batting practice. We've only used it indoors so far, but he's really enjoying his practice sessions. The height of the ball can be adjusted, so even though my son is on the smaller side (about 110 cm), it's at the perfect height for him to hit. The practice balls don't damage the walls, and it's great that he can practice indoors, even on hot days.

No, it's not rechargeable. It comes with an AC adapter that must be plugged in during use. Alternatively, it can also run on four AA batteries.
The rail is made of a flexible, shape-memory material. If you're having trouble securing it into the groove, try gently massaging the rail by hand to help shape it. If the rail isn't properly fixed to the machine, the ball may stop mid-throw. Be sure to securely attach the rail to the machine’s groove before use.
